Casting Pine Needles in Alumilite for Pen Blanks

This week on Dunkin’ Junk! Live, we tried casting pine needles in Alumilite Clear resin to make pen blanks. I was pretty surprised at how well they turned out. They are super easy to cast, just dry them out and dunk them in resin. They also turned and finished well.

  1. Final results looked much better with the white backgrounds or the mirror – probably because you spouse shot those, the video camera does not seem to have a tight enough resolution. Nonetheless I enjoyed the video – keep up the good works.

    1. Thanks Dave! Actually, I do all my own photography, can’t afford Gretchen’s prices! 🙂 Unfortunately those webcams when set on auto focus aren’t up to par for closeup shots, have to figure out a way to get a decent shot of them once I finish them up
