Faux Stained Glass Resin Cast Panels

Carl Jacobson and I did a little collaboration on this project, and it turned out really awesome! I made some faux stained glass panels out of resin that Carl used to make a stained glass mosaic picture.

To make the panels, I first made a silicone mold of a real stained glass panel with texture to it. I used Amazing Mold Rubber from Alumilite for the mold, and it turned out great! I then cast a bunch of different colors of panels for Carl to use creating the mosaic picture. He did a fabulous job with them, so don’t forget to check out Carl’s video as well:
